"Dear Mdm Samia, Teachers and Support Staff of Kidz Meadow Childcare (Woodlands),
Thank you for your dedication in developing my children during their early childhood days. They have benefited tremendously from your care and guidance. It has been a joy to see them eager to go to school and enjoying their process of learning daily. They always have something interesting to say about their day in school.
What touches me most is the feeling of inclusiveness that yo hvae inculcated in the children. You made it a point to welcome and greet each child by name and acknowledge his/her family members. And in turn, the pupils took it upon themselves to call out their friends and the respective family members, thus making us one big family.
My family and I would like to wish you continued success in nurturing the nation's future.
With regards,

"To : The Person In Charge
Dear Principal,
I am Mummy Serry, parent of Umar Hassan of Class N2A. It has been a year
since my son entered the school ( previously was in N1) and I would like to
thank the teachers for making the whole learning experience enjoyable for
Umar. Not only were the teachers able to toilet-train him but he converses
in English frequently now and shows independency when doing things on his
own.
Apart from the academic and social skills gained, I would also like to
express my utmost admiration for the way your teachers handled the kids.
I've not seen any of your staff getting rough with the kids. Infact most of
your staff are equipped with the necessary skills to handle both parents
and kids in the most rationale and polite manner possible. I've not felt
any dissatisfaction or unhappiness by the way your staff handled any of my
son's situations.
In fact, I appreciate when Teacher Ernie and Teacher
Rashida call me to ask abt Umar's medication or to inform me abt Umar being
sick. They are extremely efficient and respond fast to whatever I wrote in
the communication book. I understand that Teacher Ernie is on maternity
leave and is currently assisted by Teacher Asya. Though my experience with
Teacher Asya is a brief one, but she impressed me with her politeness and
gentle nature towards the children. I applaud them for their professional
ethics and their initiative, which surprisingly is not a common trait for
other teachers in other private institutions.
As a parent, I often exchange notes with fellow colleagues, friends and
other parents. I've heard a lot of complains from them, pertaining to the
way their childrens' teachers handled their kids, of their unhappiness with
other schools and how some of their childrens' teachers lack the necessary
social/people skills.
They often feel angered and unhappy as to how things
are being handled and I am often left feeling extremely grateful that none
of the teachers i've come in contact with at Kidz Meadow (Yishun) are as
such.
It is in view of the above that I felt it is an obligation for me to write
this letter commending you and your teachers for the job well done. Finding
a good school with the right teachers is never easy. In my case, I felt
lucky.
Once again, thank you for investing in our child's future by hiring
teachers that really could make a difference. Well Done!
Kind regards"

"I am very proud of what Sofiyah has achieved ever since she started school. Project Work for month of June is a very brilliant idea. As children are able to explore the topic in many aspects. They are also able to learn in-depth about the topics.
Teachers are also brilliant in teaching as children are given many age-appropriate means and techniques in exploring the topics.
Thank you so much Teacher Aida!!!"

"Dear Norliza,
It was nice to have a chat with you. Thank you and your team for selecting me to be featured in the upcoming newsletter, thus giving me the chance to share the little experience I've had in raising my 2 young boys.
During the interview, we mentioned the awards which Asyraf received from Madrasah Huda. I do not remember if I've stated the name of awards correctly. In case you want to put it in print, the awards received were:
Most Outstanding Student - Kids Alive 2 (2006)
Most Diligent Student - Kids Alive 3 (2007)
I wish to emphasise that MERCUhas played a big part in shaping young minds like Asyraf and Ariiq and I'm sure, other students too. Along with the quality programmes that you are constantly initiating, you also have a strong team of very friendly, encouraging and dedicated teachers. Excellent!
Once again, thank you for the opportunity."

"Before I attended MERCU classes, my grades were bad. I did badly for my mid-year examinations. In school, the methods used to understand a particular topic was very complicated until I attended MERCU classes. I came in, with no thoughts that M ERCU could really help me in my studies and would bring my grades up.
My tutors taught me a better and easier way to understand the topic taught. They would repeat the steps one by one until I finally understand it. Sometimes, my tutors would give some tips to solve a question. A week or so before PSLE, my English tutor advised me 'Always aim for a higher expectation. If you fall down, climb back up and aim higher.'
During PSLE, I was confident that I would do well. I applied the tips my tutors gave me. It was tough though. But I pulled through it. Our hardwork paid off when I saw my results. I did well! I really appreciate them giving the best of their abilities to help me succeed. Without their help, I would not be smiling now. I just want to thank them for helping me this year."

"Attending MERCU has helped me a lot. I never questioned anything that they do because I know that it is for my own benefit. Here, they teach us step by step, never rushing, making sure we understand. The Math Clinic, which I attended, had also helped me tremendously. They go through the solutions of some questions they think might come out in the PSLE.
The teachers here are also kind, patient, caring and FUN. After only two years here, they already seemed like a family to me. All this adds up to one fact that has been proven before and will continue to stand. MERCUis the best tuition centre available."

"MERCU is where I find many caring and concerned teachers and I'm surrounded by helpful friends. I achieved great results due to my teachers who encourage me to strive my best. I guarantee that people who join MERCU will achieve excellent results as it is proven!
You must have the determination and perseverance in order to pull through any obstacles. Last but not least, put your heart and soul in anything you do!
Miss Nurfarhana Ismail (Science Teacher) is the best teacher ever! Thank you to Miss Nurul and Mr Ryendy who guide me as well. Also to Kak Zai (at the front counter), who motivates me when I first registered here. I've tried so many tuition centres but none helped at all! She also provided excellent service and is an amicable person towards the customers."

"I joined Eunos Learning Centre in late March 2008 when my application to enter polytechnic was rejected. Retaking 'O' levels seemed like the only choice for me as it will only take another year, that includes if I do well this time.
Being a new student, I thought that I was going to be treated like an outcast, but I was wrong. On my first day of school, I felt very welcomed. Everybody was friendly - the staff, teachers and students. It only took me a day to make friends there. The environment in the classroom was great, the students were all very participative and the teachers had their own originality to make lessons more interesting and easy to understand which helped me a lot in my studies. Whenever I had questions to ask, the hardworking teachers are always there to help and willing to spend more time to teach.
Besides the usual routine studies in the classroom, the school organised educational outdoor activities such as camping and visiting the NEWater Treatment Centre. The camp was the most adventurous and amazing camp I ever had. Even though it was very tiring, I had a whole lot of fun and helped us to strengthen our bond with one another, including the teachers. Another interesting actvitiy is the debate which I took part in. The school also organised motivational talks to encourage students not to neglect their studies.
I never thought a private school can be so much fun and interesting. Eunos Learning Centre makes me look forward to my next day of school every single day. Honestly, it's my favourite school. It has not only helped me in my studies, but also made me a more a mature and determined person. Whenever I'm in school, I always have this unexplainable feeling which makes me want to do well...the reason why I still go to school during the school holidays. Eunos Learning Centre was definitely the right choice for me. Since I didn't do well for 'O' levels the first time, MERCUhas made me realise that failure is not the end. Failure is only the best way to learn.
Thanks to MERCU, compared to my previous 'O' level results, I did better for every subject I studied in MERCU this year. 2008 will definitely be a memorable year for me. I wish Eunos Learning Centre all the best for the upcoming future. Thank you."
