MERCU Learning Point (MOE-registered) conducts both GCE programs and tuition programs for students and young adults.

MERCU Learning Point conducts all our GCE courses in compliance with the current syllabus as set by the Ministry of Education, Singapore. Our GCE courses prepare students for the national Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘N’ and ‘O’ Levels examinations.

GCE 'N' Level Course

The GCE ‘N’ Level course is an intensive 9-month course, which provides basic foundation and preparation for students who intend to pursue further to the GCE ‘O’ Level examinations or other post-secondary qualifications.


The course is conducted over 4 terms. Classes commence from 3 January to 28 September 2012. Students will sit for the written GCE ‘N’ Level examinations in September 2012.

GCE 'O' Level Course

The GCE ‘O’ Level course is a 10-month intensive course, which provides strong academic foundation for entry into polytechnics, junior colleges, ITE colleges or any other post-secondary courses. This course caters to students who wish to take another chance to achieve better grades.

The course is conducted over 4 terms. Classes commence on 3 January to 24 October 2012. Students will sit for the written GCE ‘O’ Level examinations in November/December 2012.

Parent-Tutor Meeting

This event is conducted once annually. The purpose of this meeting is to update the individual student's progress in school. It is also a session where parents can give feedback and suggestions for improvements on the school's programme.

Educational Trips

This event is conducted once annually. Students embark on educational trips to increase their awareness and knowledge on a particular subject. For example, students were brought to Temasek Polytechnic Open House to allow every student on the opportunity to find out the criteria needed to gain entry into the courses that will lead to their career of choice in the future.
